| So I figure it's time for a (slight) change in the profile, as more people are seeing it, and it's been the same for a year or so now, might be nice to get an update, yeah?
Well, who am I? I'm a street prophet Renaissance man, I suppose - A typical conversation for me can stretch like silly putty and rubber, from poetry and art to mountain biking to cosmology. I like to learn as much as I can, as often as possible. I suppose that's a side effect of being a teacher, but it's part of who I am 
I'm a pretty calm person. I tend to take things in as much stride as possible, though some people would call me detached. around the people I love, I'm rarely angry or seriously upset - I've learned the skill of taking things in as they come, and I'd like to meet someone who can do the same
Two things are important to me: Simplicity and Balance. Simplicity means I tend not to get along with people who have strongly-held beliefs and opinions (People who are creatively and/or dogmatically inflexible annoy the unholy hell out of me. I tend to avoid him), and balance means that as much as I live my life one way, I try to accept and try new things whenever I can!
I'm always open to new people and ideas, it's something I pride myself on. So, come one

WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR IN A PARTNER? |
| I'm looking for something simple and relaxed. If you can have a relationship (relatively) free of drama with an intelligent, creative, balanced, and challenging person, then you and me oughta talk.
To ground myself back in reality: I'm looking for: A kind, caring person who will laugh at my jokes and make her own in return, someone who can put up with my idiosyncrasies, but still manage to be loving and gentle. A keen mind, and a good sense of humour are definite bonuses.
It doesn't hurt to have an easy smile, a nice laugh, and an appreciation for hugs - I worked in a daycare once, and got addicted to the simple act of hugging. It's amazing how small children can change your life.
