| We plan on launching a cooleo advertising program in about 6 months. Advertisers will be able to bid for insanely specific locations and demographics. (rip off of google, except we deal in people, not content)
But until then, unless your ad budget is HUGE, we have to focus all our functional brain cells on building this site... so don't bug us! | |
| Summer 1999Worked for a standard "change company focus daily based on the buzzword heard on CNN the night before" dot.com. Started building the site in secret to save stalled career.
Fall 1999Launched site, quit (fired) from day job and moved back to Toronto. Worked for a decent dot.com during the day, worked on site at night/weekends/obscure jewish holidays.
Summer 2000Motorcycle accident. Had to quit day job, but still got a monthly cheque (I love Canada)
Winter 2001All healed. Worked on site full time. The site starts crashing under its own weight.
Fall 2001Got very obscure and contriversial "Chronic Fatigue Syndrome" and become a semi-catitonic dumb ass. Work slows to a crawl
Summer 2003Finally launched "retro" (wohoo) Everybody complains. (ungratefull leaches)  | |
